Claudia Fessler began her professional career in 1987 with a photography internship at an advertising agency. The experience resulted in her decision to study Photography at the “National Academy for Photography” in Munich from 1989-1991. Following graduation until 1995 she worked as an assistant to several photographers in London, Paris and New York. Since 2001 she lives as a self-employed photographer in Paris.

In the course of her career she has worked for Elle, Bolero, FHM, GQ and Madame, Vogue Online etc. and has photographed advertising campaigns for Allude, Talbot Runhof, Bogner, Hugo Boss, Escada, Holy’s, 

Daniel Hechter, Joop Eyewear, St. Emile, Yufengshawn etc.

She has won several awards:

1995 “Reinhard-Wolf-Preis” for the international campaign of the eyewear-        designer Wolfgang Proksch

1998 “Art Directors Club” for the fashion catalog of Holy’s

2000 Kodak Award

2003 “ Golden Award of Montreux” for the corporate presentation of a Munich book publishing house

2005 International Colour Award New York

2006 Award Festival Cannes
